Dancing in the Moonlight

by Suzie on February 2, 2012

Have you ever danced in the moonlight?

I’ve done it many times.

Sometimes alone and sometimes with others.

But it always feels like I’ve touched something deep and connected.

Your dance can be the slightest skip to a full out, arm waving, body contorting boogie.

It can be done in a meadow, on the beach, in the woods or even on the street.

Wherever you are inspired.

You may be thinking, “I could never do that” or “That’s just silly.”

But you’ve already danced in the moonlight.

Literally or figuratively we’ve all danced at different times for different reasons.

We’ve all connected to that part of us that knows peace and true joy.

It feels breathtaking.

You dance

when you look into your child’s face,

when you laugh until you cry,

when you’re close to the one you love,

when your sweet pet curls up at your side,

when you’ve done something wonderful.

The moonlight is always ready…

enjoy your moments and dance!
