A few of Suzie’s accomplishments are organizing, at the age of seven, a ten person choir to perform and sing Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, running for senior class president and losing by one vote, advising families with teenagers for the National Home School Association and home schooling her two wonderful children through high school. She has developed art programs, written curriculum and taught classes for grades one through eight and loved every moment of it. Suzie grows and produces small batch medicinal herbs for tea and spends time with the right side of her brain making custom metal and precious stone jewelry. She’s been privileged to assist at many births and had the deep honor of holding vigil with families having loved ones at the end of life. Suzie can see the forest for the trees and has learned to fly. She has also never met a dog she didn’t like.

I believe in Magic and Miracles!
I always have and it’s probably the reason I’ve sometimes been perceived as being a little off center or not quite in step.

Not that I minded, really, but it made me stand out (which I also didn’t mind) even as a child.

The problem with believing in Magic and Miracles was most people in my circle did not. It was NOT looked at as a good thing or even a sane thing to believe in.

Because I believed, I was always looking for new things to dream and do and build and when I finished that I started dreaming and doing and building again. I was never satisfied with the status quo. It drove some of the people around me crazy and finally with enough authoritative types telling me there was no such thing as Magic and Miracles, I started to forget who I was.

I forgot so well, in fact, that it was many years of sadness, loneliness, confusion and struggle before I was able to climb back out of the hole I’d fallen deeply into.

Now that I’m up on the rim again, I’ve remembered what great adventures Magic and Miracles provide.

Every new day is wide open with promise, golden light and downright glee!
I’m here to tell you… I know how to get out of that hole and I’m offering you my hand.
